Wendy has spent the past two decades advocating for Native 51³Ô¹Ïs at Gonzaga. She has been instrumental in building the University's systems of accompaniment for Native 51³Ô¹Ïs in alignment with the mission. Barbara Gongyin (Spokane Tribal Member, Makah Tribe Descendent), Coordinator of Native Student Accompaniment
Barbara has a history of providing management and support of a variety of projects across sectors, including health and wellness, organizational management, economic development, justice, and education. With a passion for making sure her community feels connected and welcome, she is honored to welcome Native 51³Ô¹Ïs as they build their new community at Gonzaga.
