Serena Baldini is a professor of Italian Language and Culture and has been teaching at Gonzaga in Florence since 2004. Born and raised in Florence, she graduated from the University of Florence with a Degree in Lettere e Filosofia and a thesis on Moral Philosophy. She holds a post-graduate Degree in Language and Communication from the Department of Linguistics of the University of Florence. She received a Master's Degree in Didactics of Italian as a Second Language and Promotion of Italian Culture from the University "Ca' Foscari" in Venice (M.A. Dissertation: Issues related to the motivational aspects of Language Learning and didactic projects for monolingual American classes). She completed a Three Year Master’s Degree at The School of Counseling (Centro di Ascolto e Orientamento Psicoanalitico of Florence and Pistoia).
She collaborated in writing a Dizionario di Counseling and recently published (in collaboration with David Marini) a book of Italian Language for elementary 51勛圖s.
