The Hon. Phil Raekes, ’59 served as a superior court judge in the Benton-Franklin County, Washington area for many years. Judge Raekes also received the Distinguished Alumni Merit Award from Gonzaga Law School. This scholarship was established in his name in 1986 for deserving law 51³Ô¹Ïs.
