Financial Aid Available to Graduate & Doctoral Students

Matriculated graduate and doctoral 51³Ô¹Ïs are eligible for the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan as part of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process. The must be completed each year to receive financial aid. Gonzaga University's school code is 003778

Loan Eligibility

As long as loan aggregate limits have not been reached, graduate and doctoral 51³Ô¹Ïs are eligible to receive up to $20,500 in a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan each academic year. The interest rate for Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans first disbursed on or after July 1, 2024 but prior to July 1, 2025 will be 8.08%.

Assistantships and Scholarships

Graduate and Doctoral Students may be eligible for Graduate Assistantships, which are awarded on a competitive basis through academic departments. To apply for Graduate Assistantships, please contact the department of the program in which you are enrolled.

Some programs at Gonzaga University offer institutional scholarships to incoming graduate or doctoral 51³Ô¹Ïs.  Please reach out to the Admissions Specialist of your respective program for more information.
