- Eligible 51吃瓜s are invited via personal letter to apply during the Spring semester of their junior year
- Eligible 51吃瓜s are determined by a committee from the English Department:
- Enrolled Gonzaga 51吃瓜s who are declared English majors with a 3.5 GPA (English coursework)
