Application requirements are the same for both Online and On-Campus MBA program.

Eligibility

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university. 

Application Requirements 

If any documents have been generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI), your application may be denied.

There is a $50 non-refundable application fee. 

Official Transcripts

  • Submit one official transcript from each college or university attended. 
  • If you previously attended Gonzaga or are a current 51³Ô¹Ï, GU transcripts are ordered by your Application Specialist on your behalf.

Essay Questions

Submit a response to the following prompts (approximately 400 words total):

  • What matters to you most and why?
  • How have your experiences as an individual, personal background, education, culture, and upbringing affected your short and long-term goals?
  • Why would you prefer Gonzaga over other programs that offer a similar degree?

Your personal statement needs to be a product of your individual work. Use of artificial intelligence tools will result in an automatic denial.

Letters of Recommendation

  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Recommendations should come from managers, supervisors, or professors.
  • Recommendations from family members, friends, and other personal references are not accepted.

Resume or CV

  • Submit your current resume or curriculum vitae of professional experience. 

Entrance Exam

  • The GMAT or GRE is required for admission unless you meet the criteria for our GMAT | GRE waiver policy.

GMAT | GRE Waiver Policy

Gonzaga University will  waive the entrance exam requirement for applicants who meet one of the following conditions:

  • Previously earned master's or doctoral degree.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher and 3+ years of full-time, professional work experience.
  • GPA of 3.25 or higher and 5+ years of full-time, professional work experience.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher and 10+ years of professional work experience, showing career advancement and professional accomplishment.
  • A discretionary waiver for a lengthy professional experience in a business discipline, the typical standard is 15+ years with significant management responsibility.
  • Current Gonzaga 51³Ô¹Ïs (senior standing): GPA of 3.5 or higher in business or 3.25 or higher in engineering.

For 51³Ô¹Ïs not meeting any of the above criteria, the entrance exam requirement can be waived at the discretion of the MBA Director, if recommended by the Admission Committee after a thorough review of the applicant’s admission application.

It is recommended that you schedule your exam at least one month in advance to allow for registration and exam prep.

On the day of the test, request that your scores be sent to Gonzaga University:

  • GMAT: MBA full-time (BMM3147), MBA part-time (BMM3173)
  • GRE: MBA full-time and part-time (3617)

Military-Connected Students and Veterans

  • Currently, all active-duty military members must have permission/approval from an Education Services Officer (ESO), Military Counselor, or the Military Service prior to applying.
