The School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) has been an important part of Gonzaga University for almost 90 years. As one of only four Jesuit universities in the West with accredited engineering programs, we are committed to excellence in engineering education — and the nation has noticed.

Our degrees and programs train engineers and computer scientists who are ready to impact the world through invention, leadership and a commitment to advancing the greater good. Combining technical training with Gonzaga's strong liberal arts education, our rigorous curriculum challenges you to think broadly and push the boundaries of modern technology. And hands-on learning and research experiences, like those offered in our Center for Engineering Design and Entrepreneurship (CEDE), give you a preview of the profession with opportunities to design solutions for real-world engineering problems in industry.

Driven by innovation, we always have an eye on the future, but our focus is on you. We emphasize a personal learning experience that includes small class sizes, one-on-one attention from professors, and a collaborative community of 51勛圖s, faculty and practicing engineers.

We also offer access to the latest equipment and technologies in the engineering field. The Herak Engineering Computer Center (HECC), which has more than 40 CAD/CAE workstations, several fabrication laboratories, and machine shops with state-of-the art equipment, including 3-D printers. Our facilities also include the PACCAR Center, a gold-certified LEED building with sophisticated laboratories dedicated to robotics, artificial vision, and transmission and distribution line engineering.
